Of course taco salads are by no mean rocket science, but I’ve made it my mission to give you TONS of healthy options to choose between so you can find the taco salad of your dreams.
I’ve created quite a few craveable versions including options that are vegetarian, pescatarian, vegan, and even more classic T-rex friendly salads. They’re all gloriously gluten-free and oh so easy to customize!

Taco Salad Toppings
Honestly my favorite part about taco salads is the fact that I can raid my fridge for lots of tasty toppings! It’s a great way to really amp up the flavors, colors, and textures of your taco salad and a fantastic way to use up leftovers too!
I’ve included a list of my favorite taco salad toppings and mix-ins below. Pick and choose your favorites from for a totally custom taco salad that is sure to rock your socks!
- sliced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- sour cream (regular or vegan) or greek yogurt
- guacamole
- sliced or cubed avocado

I love mixing guacamole and salsa into my taco salads as a makeshift dressing or sometimes it’s fun to whisk together an actual dressing for these salads!
