Apple, Fig, and Goat Cheese Toast with Maple Bacon
The combination of creamy goat cheese with the sweet fig preserves, crisp juicy apples, and crisp maple bacon paired with the awesome seeded texture of the bread rocked my face!
I inhaled them both mere seconds after this last photo was taken and cannot wait to make it again!
So go ahead, jump on the bandwagon and get toasted.
Breakfast toasted!
Apple, Fig, and Goat Cheese Toast with Maple Bacon
Ingredients
- 2 slices whole grain bread (toasted)
- 2-4 TBSP whipped goat cheese
- 2-4 TBSP fig preserves
- ½ apple sliced thin
- 1-2 slices bacon cooked to crispy perfection
- 2 tsp pure maple syrup or to taste
Instructions
- Spread each toast with a fluffy layer of whipped goat cheese, then top with fig preserves.
- Fan out a few thin slices of your favorite apple on top.
- Crush your bacon, toss in maple syrup and sprinkle atop the toasts.
- Faceplant.

I can’t believe I was able to veer my eyes away from the oozing peanut butter for a second to stare at your awesome nail polish. I usually do straight-up black, but I want the sparkly blue. I want it almost as much as I want the peanut butter toast, but not QUITE close enough to beat the almighty PB.
Possibilities with sticks are endless. My mind is rolling with them!
