Caramelized roasted peaches take this peach yogurt bowl to the next level! We love this super-simple yet deliciously decadent breakfast bowl!

Roasted Peach Yogurt Bowl with Cinnamon and Granola

I’m slowly extending my repertoire of peach recipes.

It’s hard to do, yo!

When I bring home juicy ripe peaches it takes ALLTHESELFCONTROL to not just tear into them straight up in all their handheld snacking glory.

I adore them in my peachy green smoothies, baked into a sweet peach crisp with vanilla bean ice cream, and paired with strawberries and basil for the most delicious fruit salad salsa.

To keep the creative juices going (pun intended!), I decided to make a little bucket list of peach recipes and first up is this deeeeeelish roasted peach yogurt bowl!

Have you roasted peaches before?

It’s crazy easy to do and results in the most decadent caramelized sweetness, reviving even ho hum less than ripe peaches into something completely glorious.

I could have easily eaten them off the pan and called it a day, but managed to squirrel a few away to place on a creamy Greek yogurt bowl along with some crispy maple pecan granola and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon.

HO. LY. COW.

This combo rocked my socks! I’ve always loved buying little cups of peach yogurt but this takes it to a whole new level of deliciousness!

I could wax poetic with the details but I pretty much need to get this recipe into your hands STAT!

Real quick, I will add that if you’re a fan of my Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal you could absolutely use peaches in place of apples for a tasty breakfast faceplant of epic proportions!

  • 1 peach
  • 1 TBSP sugar
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1/4-1/2 cup granola
  • ground cinnamon for sprinkling, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice peach into medium wedges (not paper thin but not too thick) and arrange spaced on parchment paper. Sprinkle 1/2 the sugar on one side of the peaches then flip and sprinkle on the remainder. Allow to sit 10 minutes.
  • Roast peaches for 13-14 minutes or until edges are lightly caramelized.
  • Serve over choice of yogurt and sprinkle with crunchy granola and a sprinkle of cinnamon. Enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free yogurt bowl, simply ensure that your granola is made with certified GF oats. I used my Maple Pecan Granola here but feel free to use your favorite!
This recipe makes one yogurt bowl with enough leftover roasted peaches for a snack (I love them warmed up and served with a scoop of cold vanilla ice cream) or to make a second yogurt bowl for a family member!

I highly suggest lifting the parchment off the baking sheet to pour any juices from the roasted peaches onto the yogurt bowl. You can also whip up the orange glaze from my strawberry peach fruit salad salsa to spoon over your breakfast bowl.
