Paleo Ranch Dressing (Dairy-Free + Whole30)

Ditch the sketchy processed bottled dressing and whip up this super quick, super easy, homemade paleo ranch dressing!

I’m currently building up my arsenal of dairy-free dressing recipes and having way too much fun experimenting in the kitchen.

If you’re playing catch-up, here are a few of my favorites so far:

I could go on and on, but we need to speed things along so I can share my latest dressing obsession with you!

 Paleo Ranch Dressing

This paleo ranch dressing is crazy amazing and deliciously dairy-free thanks to the inclusion of dreamy, creamy coconut milk.

As with most dressings, this bad boy is gluten-free but it also as the added bonus of being keto-friendly, dairy-free, whole30 compliant and just overall awesome!

I’ve been enjoying it on top of salads, lettuce wraps, and my buffalo shrimp spaghetti squash and totally love it!

  • Place in fridge to chill + dive in when you’re ready!
  • The dressing can be made in advance and enjoyed for approx. 4 days.

Notes

* For Whole30 simply make sure you’re either making your own or using a compliant paleo mayo and you’re good to go!
If using fresh garlic vs. garlic powder, be sure to control the amount/bite of the garlic. I personally like to take the edge off by sautéing it in a teeny bit of oil or putting a drizzle of avocado/olive oil over the garlic and microwaving it for 20-30 seconds. You can always add more but can’t subtract the garlic, so if using fresh start by adding a little and increase the amount to your liking. The ranch dressing I’m most fond of uses garlic powder so I’m super partial to using it in my ranch.
If you’d like a thicker dressing (I like mine on the runnier side) you can use a bit more mayonnaise and less coconut milk, but if you’re increasing the amounts beyond that you may have to tweak the seasoning to compensate so you don’t wind up with a bland dressing. If you’d like more garlicky goodness all up in your face, this dressing can handle it! Just start small and increase as you go since you can always add more, but can’t subtract. As written, I feel like it has quite a bit of garlic flavor. (love it!) Flavors also tend to amplify by the next day if you’re making it to enjoy later.

Absolutely LOVING the ingredients in this! We go through ranch like crazy, it’s amazing I haven’t made it at home yet, and I’m sure it will taste so much better. Can’t wait to try this!

  2. This ranch sounds so good, I´m going to opt to use fresh garlic instead of powder, I just love raw garlic, will try it out with just 1/2 a clove minced and go from there! super recipe

    1. Yes it’s great with fresh too! I grew up on those packet ranch dressings so I have a soft spot for the powder but fresh garlic is always welcome around here! 🙂 Hope you adore it!
