11 quick and easy dip recipes, perfect for your next party!
This time of year, college football runs this town.
And I mean runs. this. town.
It’s the hottest of topics around here lately and can clear a schedule in the blink of an eye. Paul and I are no exception, as we’re combing over home game dates trying to figure out which game we’ll go to. Tally is a mere 2.5 hours away and it is SO HAPPENING!
Oh yes, we’re Noles to the core. We’ve been decking the chickpea out in garnet and gold since her first FSU game, which she was a whopping two days old for. Always the first to drop, I passed out with a bowl of melon on my lap while she and her daddy stayed up and watched the whole game from the comfort of our couch. We spent the past two seasons honoring that routine [sometimes I’d actually stay awake… I swear!] but now that the nugget is older and we’ve moved back to Florida, a trip to Tallahassee is a total must.
We’ve noticed that Pensacola has always been a ridiculously ACC-centric place all bajillion times we’ve been stationed here, and this time around has been no exception. I don’t think we’ve had a single outing where football hasn’t come up so far. While football talk is beyond expected at bars and parties, we weren’t quite expecting the topic to come up [quite heatedly!] at hardware stores, Target, and even my own driveway. Our new neighbors were quick to assess our team status and classify us friends or college football frenemies.
It’s a thing.
