Honey Dijon Vinaigrette. Pair this delicious homemade honey mustard dressing with your favorite salad! We love ours over baby spinach with dried cranberries, sliced almonds, and crumbled feta. Delicious!
When it comes to dressings, I like to be thoroughly assaulted by flavor. Not quite a sucker punch to the taste buds, but pretty darn close.
In order for me to deem a dressing appropriate, it needs to be a little bit sweet, a little bit salty, and enhance any and all veggies I pair it with without overpowering their natural deliciousness. It’s not asking too much.
My past arsenal includes a creamy curry dressing worthy of slathering on everything from salads to rice bowls, a greek vinaigrette that is utterly magical over bell peppers and chickpeas, and a refreshing yet fiery sriracha ranch that takes fish tacos to the next level and then some!
Flavorful dressings FTW!
This zesty vinaigrette rocks our socks!
Looking for a traditional mayo-based honey mustard dressing or dip? For ours we combine equal parts honey, yellow mustard, dijon mustard, and mayo for ours – then adjust the sweetness to taste!
I even make a chipotle honey mustard dip that’s awesome for spreading on veggie burgers and dipping fries in!

Nothing better than homemade dressing, you always make everything look so easy, and that is amazing, can’t wait to try this dressing
I love a flavor punch in my dressings too. This vinaigrette looks and sounds fantastic! A great way to brighten salads, and I bet it’s wonderful over a platter of grilled veggies, too!
Homemade vinaigrette is the BEST! Yum!
Yum! This looks amazing!
This looks fantastic! I don’t usually like mustard too much, but I’d try this in a heartbeat (and probably pour buckets of it onto my salad – it looks *that* good). 🙂
I love making honey dijon dressing. It’s so yummy. I’ll have to try the onion, haven’t done that yet.
I love honey dijon vinaigrette but I normally buy it from the store rather than make it myself. Your recipe sounds absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely have to give it a try! 🙂 xx
Love the post, Jenn. 😀 I’m 100% with ya on the dressing requirements. This looks heavenly and I love the presentation of it in the pictures.
I was actually thinking of making a big salad for Christmas with fruit and this dressing would go perfect with what I had in mind. I’m printing now!
it’s curry in a hurry. YUM!
This is my and REB’s go-to homemade dessert when we have side salads alongside dinner! I love this! It’s so light, tangy and so flavorful!
Ugh. Not dessert. DRESSING. DRESSING, APARNA, DRESSING. Gah. It’s early 😉
Yes please on the dressing flavor assault, this coming from a person who enjoys sweating when they eat (bring on the spice!) This dressing looks amaze-a-balls!
YUMMY!!! Honey dijon is my fave on everything from salads to roasted brussels sprouts to sandwiches!
I looooove a good tasty mustard dressing and this one sounds uh-may-zing!! I think I almost licked my screen – thanks for that! X
I read your posts and HONE IN ON YER PICS and wonder:
SERIOUSLY THATS HER FOOD?
my food tastes fab but my food be, um, ugly 🙂
Yummy! Definitely one of my favorite dressings but I haven’t tried to make it at home yet. I really love a good creamy tahini dressing too.
Honey dijon is Ralph’s favorite! I’ll be trying this version, soon…Thanks, Jenn!
Lovely. During all this holiday craze, I’ve become really appreciative of the lighter meals like this. It’s refreshing.
I have no doubt that I would love this dressing. I’m the same as you … I need my salad dressing to pack a punch! 😉
