These easy cheesy Wonton Pizza Cups are fast, flavorful, and easy to customize with all your favorite pizza toppings!
Whenever I need a speedy appetizer or snack, it’s wonton wrappers to the rescue!
The possibilities are endless with a package of these handy.
So far we’ve used wontons to make everything from bite-sized vegetarian Taco Cups to crispy Baked Shrimp Wontons to brunch-worthy Breakfast Wonton Egg Cups.
They’re so versatile and pair great with a zillion different flavor combinations.
Today we’re taking it back to basics and whipping up a tray of easy peasy wonton pizza cups!
For this batch I went with a classic combo of pepperoni and cheese but feel free to have fun with it and choose your favorites from the list below:
tasty pizza cup toppings
- mushrooms
- sausage
- pepperoni
- bell pepper
- onion
- basil
- tomatoes
- spinach
- garlic
- olives
- ham
- pineapple
- jalapeños
make it a meal!
Though they make an excellent appetizer and snack, these crispy little pizza bites can be paired with soup or salad to turn them into a balanced meal for kids and adults alike.
Some of my favorite soups to pair with pizza cups are Creamy Tomato Soup, Vegetarian Minestrone, and my tasty one-pot Orzo Vegetable Soup.
For salads, these pizza wontons would be great with a healthy Kale Salad, Quinoa Spinach Salad, or Bruschetta Salad!

So tasty and quick and easy to make. The presentation is so cute. Perfect appetizer. Definitely a crowd pleaser.
Making these this weekend with sausage and broccoli.
I made these in mini muffin cups and put a small cube of cream cheese in each one then added a Tbsp of pizza sauce, a half Tbsp of basil pesto and topped them with mozzarella and Parmesan.
They hit!
can you substitute spring roll wrapper for wonton wrapper if you cut them in quarters
Hi Susan! Are you thinking of the ones labeled “egg roll wraps”? The ones I’ve seen at stores are the exact same ingredients (and brand) as the wonton wrappers so those should totally work if you’re thinking of the same ones I am. I’d give it a quick google to make sure yours are the same ones and you should be good to go!
the package I have says ingredients are
Rice Flour
Tapioca Flour
water
salt
Unfortunately those are too different from regular wonton wrappers and egg roll wrappers so they won’t work here. I’d save them to make spring rolls though (bc those are delish!) and then get wonton wrappers next grocery trip?
Super simple and easy to make-plus kiddo approved!
Perfect snack for after school or an easy dinner!
We had these for a quick ladies lunch and they were a perfect appetizer!
