  • 12 wonton wrappers
  • spray oil or olive oil and a pastry brush as needed
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce (spaghetti sauce works in a pinch!)
  • 1/4 tsp Italian seasoning blend
  • 18 mini pepperoni
  • 2-3 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup toppings (see list below)

TASTY TOPPING OPTIONS: Choose Your Favorites!

  • mushrooms
  • bell pepper
  • onion
  • basil
  • diced tomatoes
  • olives
  • sausage
  • spinach
  • ham + pineapple
  • jalapeños
  • grated parmesan cheese
  • crushed red pepper flakes

  1. Pre-heat oven to 365° and spray a 6-cup muffin tin with nonstick spray or use a pasty brush to brush the cups lightly with oil.

  2.  Layer two wonton wrappers per cup, rotating the second wonton square so each cup looks like a star and covers the whole muffin cup.

  3. Bake for 5 minutes.

  4. Remove crisped wontons from oven and divide pizza sauce between all 6 cups, spooning a little into the bottom of each wonton cup. Sprinkle with italian seasoning blend.

  5. Top each cup with grated mozzarella and pepperoni (or choice of toppings from the list above) and bake for an additonal 10-15 minutes or until the sauce is hot and the cheese is melty.

  6. Add any additional toppings or garnsh your heart desires and dive in while they're hot!

Making these this weekend with sausage and broccoli.

I made these in mini muffin cups and put a small cube of cream cheese in each one then added a Tbsp of pizza sauce, a half Tbsp of basil pesto and topped them with mozzarella and Parmesan.
    They hit!

can you substitute spring roll wrapper for wonton wrapper if you cut them in quarters

    • Hi Susan! Are you thinking of the ones labeled “egg roll wraps”? The ones I’ve seen at stores are the exact same ingredients (and brand) as the wonton wrappers so those should totally work if you’re thinking of the same ones I am. I’d give it a quick google to make sure yours are the same ones and you should be good to go!

the package I have says ingredients are

        Rice Flour
        Tapioca Flour

        • Unfortunately those are too different from regular wonton wrappers and egg roll wrappers so they won’t work here. I’d save them to make spring rolls though (bc those are delish!) and then get wonton wrappers next grocery trip?
