As long as they’re ripe, any tomatoes will work here! You can raid your garden or snag some tasty tomatoes from the farmer’s market or grocery store.
Feel free to use all one type or mix and match! I used a combination of cherry tomatoes with vine-ripened tomatoes but you can also use Roma tomatoes, campari tomatoes, heirloom tomatoes, or whatever you have handy!
If you get a chance to try this tasty Greek feta dip, let me know!

I just made this with cherry tomatoes and I absolutely loved it! Very fresh and delightful. I just added a few dashes of salt and another tablespoon and a half of lemon with fresh dill. Thank you so much for this easy and healthy dip. Will deff use in a wrap with grilled chicken next.
Amazing! I made this as an appetizer for dinner in the summer and everyone raved – I was even told next time to make a double batch 🙂
This is my second time making this. It is so good and easy to make and is a very colorful presentation. Everyone loves it.
Happy to hear it Kat – thank you!! ❤️
I am a school teacher and am always searching for fast healthy recipes that can last me a couple of days. I’m able to meal prep this on Sunday, and I eat it for lunch Monday-Wednesday with Naan bread. It never gets old, and the fresh ingredients give me that midday boost that I need! I also take an individual serving of hummus to complete my lunch. It is amazing! Thank you!
This dip was excellent! I made it for a gathering with my friends last night and they all loved it! They even asked me to forward over the recipe!
Ahhhh yay! I’m so glad y’all enjoyed it — thanks Madelyn!
Ahhhh! I’m not a fan of tomatoes but this beautiful concoction of goodness was amazing!!!! I made it for a dinner, they eat healthy, and they could t stop eating it! Now I’m making it again for myself – a non-veggie eater lol! Huge high five on this!
Looks tasty. What a great summer side dish.
Made this for New Year’s Eve as a snack and everyone in our family loved it! Great and quick snack to have and healthy for you. Didn’t change one thing when making it. Will be making this again! Thank you!
I made this today and it tastes amazing! I love it as a salad.
I’m so happy you enjoyed the recipe, Christina! Thanks!
Don’t be a dummy like me and use a food processor. The taste is wonderful but it would look so much prettier and have much better texture if I had chopped by hand, I’ll make it again and do to the right way 🙂
Just made it and its very tasty…once its sits a few hours I would imagine it gets better.
Was looking for something to serve with drinks and this is it..thank you,
This was absolutely delicious! It was a party hit! I didn’t use Dill (couldn’t find any added added 1 extra tbsp of lemon juice!
Hello, just came across your recipe and was wondering could I use fresh herbs? If so how much of the dill and basil should I use? I’ll be making this tomorrow, Thank you.
Hi Christina! Yes absolutely use fresh if you have it! (I cannot wait to restart my herb garden here soon) I’d start with a few basil leaves (chopped) and maybe 1/2 tsp of dill and then add extra to taste.
I made this for an office pot luck and everyone loved it. I served it along side Greek chicken tenders and jalapeño hummus with naan and pita chips! It was delicious!
I added some chopped red, orange and yellow peppers, and used Greek seasoning instead of basil and oregano, it was soooo good, my guests loved it!!!
What type of tomato do you use for this recipe? Thinking of making this for Christmas Day. Such festive colors!
Hi Kerri! I used a mix of Roma (plum) tomatoes and cherry tomatoes this time around but any type of tomato that you enjoy will work great! Heirloom, vine-ripened, beefsteak tomatoes, etc… They’re all great! This time of year the “Campari” greenhouse ones are really good (since they’re grown in a greenhouse they’re nice and ripe!) xoxo
Loved it! It was so simple to throw together and everyone enjoyed the flavors, they are especially good if you can make it the day before and let all the herbs meld together. Thanks for the great recipe!
Fabulous on pita chips! It tastes very clean and refreshing. Thank you!
This is fantastic! I was looking for something healthy yet FUN to add to my meal plan, and this is it! Thank you for the tip about using a block of feta – huge, HUGE difference!!
So glad you enjoyed the recipe Jen – thanks for being my taste-tester!
