The combination of creamy goat cheese with the sweet fig preserves, crisp juicy apples, and crisp maple bacon paired with the awesome seeded texture of the bread rocked my face!

I inhaled them both mere seconds after this last photo was taken and cannot wait to make it again!

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole grain bread (toasted)
  • 2-4 TBSP whipped goat cheese
  • 2-4 TBSP fig preserves
  • ½ apple sliced thin
  • 1-2 slices bacon cooked to crispy perfection
  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup or to taste

Instructions

  • Spread each toast with a fluffy layer of whipped goat cheese, then top with fig preserves.
  • Fan out a few thin slices of your favorite apple on top.
  • Crush your bacon, toss in maple syrup and sprinkle atop the toasts.
  • Faceplant.

  1. I can’t believe I was able to veer my eyes away from the oozing peanut butter for a second to stare at your awesome nail polish. I usually do straight-up black, but I want the sparkly blue. I want it almost as much as I want the peanut butter toast, but not QUITE close enough to beat the almighty PB.
