Make your own homemade sushi with this easy peasy shortcut sushi trick featuring speedy sushi rice!

I found something amaaaaaazing!
Sushi-making is ridiculously easy, but waiting twenty minutes for the rice to cook and another 5 for it to cool can seem like an eternity sometimes.
A rice cooker for sure makes life easy; however, I don’t have room for a new appliance and it takes the same flipping amount of time to cook!
Am I that impatient? Well, yes!
Especially when I’m hungry!
Enter this tasty little bowl of awesomeness:

90 seconds in the microwave and you magically have enough rice to make 2 rolls.
Seriously! You can find the rice on amazon (there’s a brown rice too!), at your local grocery store, and even at local Asian supermarkets.
I keep a stash of them in my pantry for days when I have a crisper full of produce to use up and need a quick lunch. Shortcut sushi to the rescue! It also helps when you want sushi, and gosh darn it, you want it now!
Visit my super-detailed [Sushi Tutorial] for step-by-step instructions on the rolling process and check out the links below for some delicious sushi recipes!

The avocado-wrapped ones are my all-time favorite!

This page literally saved my life today haha!! The guy I have been dating for a while really wanted me to make him dinner and mentioned loving sushi so I went out and bought dinner/sushi stuff for like $70 and then realized that I had no idea how to make all of this stuff! Your blogs really helped and gave me a ton of helpful ideas. Thank you so much!!!
Candace
That sushi rice shortcut is awesome. I have not seen anything like that around here. I’m going to have to ask someone at the grocery story about it. What a great idea!

I love that rice! I have been cheating with it for months and my husband has no idea. I’ve been keeping it a secret from him because he hates packaged food. Nothing wrong with cheating a little sometimes! 🙂

Shortcut to sushi? I don’t believe it-ha. I had sushi last night-someone else made it….mine would look like a hot mess-or a stirfry bc i’d get mad and throw it all in a bowl and go to town!
I’m boring and only like veggie sushi! I had a mango pineapple sushi once that was weird but amazing too!
Heather
Oh my gosh, I’m drooling over the pineapple one! Holy yum!
Where did you find the rice?
My favorite sushi ingredients are definitely avocado and eel! Eel is my absolute fave!
Maryann
Hey! I didnt see your email on your blog so ill respond here. on Blogger, Click on design and then under the header there should be a bar that you can edit and then put the “pages” there. Then any page you make will come up there. If there isnt a bar there that you can edit to put in the pages, try going to the template designer and picking a different template. Does that help? I am terrible at explaining this stuff, sorry!! Ill try to help more though if you have more questions!
Now, how do you get such cute graphics?! I want to put a bean on my blog, haha.
Krystal
I have so been craving sushi lately, haven’t thought to make it myself though!

I freaking LOVE sushi! 🙂 The best sushi I ever had was filled with salmon, cream cheese, and jalepenos. I know it probably sounds gross, but my taste buds are kind of obsessed with it. Lol.
