This quick and easy peanut sauce can be made in just minutes and makes a delicious sauce, dip, or dressing for noodles, salads, veggies, stir fry, dumplings, and so much more!
Peel, smash, and mince one clove of fresh garlic. Finely grate a small peeled portion of fresh ginger. Add both to a mixing bowl.
Add (¼ cup) peanut butter, juice of half an orange or a whole lime, (2 TBSP) soy sauce or GF tamari, (1 TBSP) rice vinegar, (1 TBSP) sesame oil, (1 TBSP) maple syrup, and (2 TBSP) warm water.
For a spicy peanut sauce, add Sriracha (start with 1 teaspoon and increase as desired after tasting) and/or cayenne pepper.
Add any additional water needed/desired to thin the sauce into a dressing or thinner sauce or keep it gloriously thick and creamy. Feel free to use this recipe as a base and add extra of any ingredient desired for a totally custom peanut sauce. Enjoy!
