  • 6 oz crumbled feta cheese (approx. 1.5 cups)
  • 2 cups chopped tomato
  • 1 cup chopped English cucumber
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onion
  • 3-4 TBSP quality olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1 TBSP lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/8 tsp dried dill
  • 1/8 tsp dried oregano leaves


  1. Chop veggies and, if using a block of feta, crumble feta cheese.

  2. Whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, and spices.

  3. Pour over veggies and mix well. Enjoy with your choice of dippers or over your favorite salad! See post for even more tasty serving suggestions.

Recipe Notes

I like to purchase my feta in block form and freshly crumble it whenever I need it. The result is a creamier feta cheese for toppings and dips!
