Let’s talk about how I failed at What I Ate Wednesday.
What I Ate Wednesday
I didn’t mean to, and shortly after waking this past Saturday, I politely reminded myself “Today is WIAW photo day, mofo! Don’t screw it up!”
Then, of course, I screwed it up. I didn’t take photos of breakfast [an everything bagel with yummy yogurt cream cheese and a banana, of course!] or lunch [a big bowl of seafood and corn chowder that rocked my socks] but I did manage to photograph dinner along with some late night noshing with one of my favorite people:
Dear god that was good.
Oh, and take that Yuengling and multiply it by 3 because, gameday.
Since my post falls a little short, here are a few snapshots from throughout the week of things I happily stuffed into my face:
These So Delicious Dairy-Free Candy Corn Ice Cream Bars are my latest obsession. The sweet folks at So Delish sent me a box to try [‘cause they’re awesome like that!] and promptly turned me into an addict. I already need to run out to my nearest Whole Foods to pick up a dozen or so more, seriously. They’re GOOD. The layers taste like orange creamsicle and vanilla with a bonus vanilla layer dipped in chocolate. Hello best candy corn of my life! While I love those pint sized sugar-bomb candies, they’ve got nothing on this sweet-but-not-painfully-sweet novelty bar. Less sugar, more flavor, and hello it’s practically a vegetable in my book! Ok so maybe it’s not a veggie, but at least it’s coconut milk… let me live my dream!
