What I Ate Wednesday – September 18 2013

Ohmygosh so…. newborns eat a lot.  Like a freakish amount.  As a result, I don’t actually have time to eat unless someone comes home from work and shoves food in my face.  I’m still fairly certain I could actually live off of baby fingers and toes anyways… so there’s that.  I should probably re-title today’s post “What Paul Made Me Eat” Wednesday.  I love that man.  Here are a few of the things I’ve managed to faceplant into lately.  I wish I had all of this in front of me right now.

Everyone always seems to ask what on earth I put on my salads.  I use [this] homemade dressing.  It’s fantab and oh. so. easy.  Lately I’ve been subbing white vinegar for a summery, fruity blush raspberry balsamic vinegar.
Hopefully by next week the chickepa and I will have our act together.

Paul made you eat pretty well!!! Don’t worry about getting your act together. You have a chickpea to get together! Mwah!

Oh my god, if I have a baby, will Paulijandro come make ME homemade sushi?! Wait…I’m not sure I’m ready for all that now…maybe I’ll just borrow one of the chickpea’s toes for bartering purposes! 😉 Love you doll and hope you are doing well!

That pizza looks great! Your a new momma so no-one expects you to get it together, and you are so lucky to have a husband you can rely on to shove food down your throat in times of need ha ha. We should all be so lucky :D!

Kierston

Okay. If we ever meet in real life…promise me that we will go for sushi~ 🙂

i’m not even going to lie….I had a Little Debbie Swiss Cake Roll for dinner last night. I have never felt more ashamed!

That Sushi!! I don’t know if I would survive with a newborn….maybe that’s whiy I am still hesitating to make one 🙂 So sweet of your man to cook for you!!!

Jenn @ Peas and Crayons

I had a chocolate chip cookie for breakfast yesterday. It cancels out 😉

By the looks of all of that deliciousness, it looks like Paul is doing a great job of getting you fed!!! Sounds like you’re enjoying your time with the little chickpea! 😉

Lauren

What a great man you have to make sure you’re keeping yourself from literally eating baby’s toes 😛

Samantha @ 10000 Squats

Wow everything you made in those pictures looks delicious!! Well, I guess I’ll say everything Paul made… lol! Your salads definitely do look amazing with your home made dressing. Yum! Thanks for sharing.

Amy @ Long Drive Journey

Well even when you’re not really eating, your food looks good! Especially that pasta. I’m a sucker for a good marinara sauce.

Hey Momma!! Although it seems impossible at times, be sure to keep eating & drinking plenty of water. The insatiable hunger of newborns comes back when they hit a growth spurt! My lil guy is 5.5 months and when he was first born, I would make some power/energy bars, wrap them up individually and grab them as needed. I also kept some snacks in the pockets of my gider for easy access while feeding! Paul is so awesome to feed you! I don’t think my hubby ever noticed if I ate at all! Congrats again 🙂 Such a fun (although exhausting) time 🙂

Kammie @ Sensual Appeal

I’m excited to check out all of the deliciousness!

Amanda @ Semi-Health Nut

So glad Paul is feeding you!! You need that food to feed your little one! Sorry you might feel like a milking machine right now, but it won’t be forever, right? (said the non-parent lol) Thanks for still having a fun link-up even though I’m sure you’re super busy right now!!
