What I Ate Wednesday Summer 2012

What I Ate… Last Wednesday!

breakfast banana + a big handful of dry cereal (cinnamon oat squares) + coffee + gingerberry kombucha with a shot of ACV and LOTS of ice
snack 1/2 a cuke’s worth of cucumber slices while making veggie burgers
lunch a super tasty triple-bean veggie burger + side salad with more veggies
snack a bowl of cherries + another banana
dinner savory stuffed sweet potato + asparagus spears
dessert yogi tea + a handful of dark choc chips

As always, I drank lots and lots of water all day long — I think there was a second cup of black coffee that snuck in the lineup as well.  I can’t be certain… Ok Ok it did! =)  And I loved it!

Hookay soo… Last week I mentioned that I’d share a few favorite summer tunes with you guys as part of our summer staples shenanigans.  Disclaimer: I listen to anything and everything… but I’m a dirty little hipster at heart, I can’t help myself.  Think of this as the type of summer playlist you listen to while sprawled out face-down on the beach with a microbrew or while driving around aimlessly on an uber hot day.  It’s very chill, unlike the Pitbull and 50Cent I shake it to in Zumba.

SUMMER PLAYLIST

Sublime “Doin’ Time”
Imagine Dragons “It’s Time”
Modest Mouse “Dashboard”
Sublime “Badfish”
The Shins “New Slang”
The Shins “Sea Legs”
Passion Pit “Take a Walk”
Two Door Cinema Club “What You Know”
Death Cab For Cutie “Summer Skin”
Death Cab For Cutie “Soul Meets Body”
OK GO “1000 Miles Per Hour”
Vampire Weekend “Cousins”
The Shins “Australia”
