I cannot believe we’re about to celebrate our 200th wiaw party. That’s 200 kinds of ridiculous! I’m going to be a weirdo and savor party #199 because things are about to get crazy up in here! Thanks for the many years of support with my nutty foodie endeavors. Your support means the world to me!

What I Ate Wednesday #199
[breakfast aka a bunch of random snacks throughout the morning] 1/2 a grapefruit shared with my mini, an apple also shared with the ankle biter, a few squares of cabot sharp cheddahhh, and some impulse-buy kit-kats, not shared with the chickpea. I may have eaten while hiding in the dining room. Survival mode, yo.
[lunch] Asparagus Alfredo: I had a little bit of leftover [asparagus pesto] on hand so I swirled it into my go to [alfredo sauce] and added some sauteed asparagus spears along with it. And extra parm; always extra parm! It was delicious!
[dinner] So I’ve never been one to sugarcoat things, especially in regards to what I eat. You guys have seen some of my craziest habits, food jags, and even my gold star eats. This time around I had one of those really long, exhausting evenings that kicked my butt, hard. Dinner was seriously cheese and crackers and a beer, eaten standing up against the breakfast bar while the chickpea played with ABC magnets [aka slid them under my stove for funsies]. It happens. I felt less alone texting Meghan and finding out she was pretty much in the same dinner boat minus the magnet slinging toddler. Though tonight I plan on having a proper dinner, my body is practically screaming for it! I have literally two freezers full of yummy soups and casseroles stashed away for days like this. I just need to get my act together and defrost those bad boys instead of eating the saddest excuse for a dinner ever. In my defense, it was REALLY good cheese =)
