We love this easy peasy peachy green smoothie recipe! It’s the perfect mix of fruit and greens and tastes amazing.
That title needed to be in all caps because I’m fairly certain you can’t hear me screaming right now. If you actually can hear screaming, I’m so sorry! I’ll bring over a fruit basket or something to apologize. My poor, poor neighbors.
But seriously. AUGUST?! My due date is at the end of this month! Ahhh!!!
Having said that, I’ll surely have a September baby now. That’s how it works right? I think if you make them too comfortable they decide that vacating is for quitters and that they’re not leaving their shiny happy little bubble until their incubator has lost every last shred of sanity. Just thinking about it makes me crave a bagel and my blankee. Hold me!
This has, hands down, been the longest and craziest year of my life. From welcoming Paul home from a lengthy deployment in Afghanistan to travelling to NY, FL, AZ, and SC to basically turning into a full-fledged preggo zombie thanks to a super-fun medical DX and a genetic disposition to have a sucky pregnancy… it’s been quite a roller coaster these past 12 months. I can’t even imagine what the next twelve will bring but I’m ready for it! I think. I hope? I don’t really have a choice now do I? Haha let’s do this! I’m equal parts excited and terrified.
That sounds about right for the last year of my twenties! Bah-ring it!
Speaking of the aforementioned whirlwind, I’m uber grateful your support and encouragement through the insanity. You guys are seriously the best. There have been days where I preened and pranced and jumped for joy and days that I’ve produced enough tears to fill a swimming pool, but I’ve always felt like I’ve had an outlet for both with this blog. Though I don’t often use it as a stomping ground for my tantrums and breakdowns, I know most of you would be here for me if I needed to, and that alone makes me want to hug each and every one of you. So thanks for that.
Not to worry, this little ramble-a-thon doesn’t mean I’ve run out of recipes yet! I’ve been sitting on several weeks worth and for the next week or so I’ll be photo editing and writing my face off. In the meantime, here’s one of my favorite summer smoothie recipes. It’s healthy and refreshing. Make it.
Peachy Green Smoothie
However you spin it, (hah! get it?) this smoothie is flipping delicious!
Peachy Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 super ripe peach, chopped
- ½ a large frozen banana
- 1-2 handfuls of fresh baby spinach
- ¼ cup almond milk or coconut milk
- 1 TBSP chia seeds
- 1/2-1 cup ice (depending on desired thickness)
- 2 TBSP orange juice for sweetness (or to taste)
Instructions
- If it's your first time making a smoothie with spinach, start small and work your way up. I typically add two handfuls to mine.
- Fresh banana and frozen peach will work as will using both fresh or both frozen; the great thing about smoothies is how ridiculously versatile and customizable they are. Simply adjust the ice depending on your fruit's chill factor. If you're using all frozen fruit you'll need less ice and if everyting you toss into the blender is fresh? Get your ice on! You can always add additional ingredients after your initial blend so don't fret if you're winging it!
- Blend and enjoy!

I love green smoothies. It makes me happy to know I’m doing something right for me, even if the world doesn’t understand it.
Oh this one is my favorite…This smoothie has a wide variety of elements which are responsible for boosting everything in your body. This ranges from improving your immune system to increasing blood flow. I am having peach smoothies and when I went for health diagnosis online with online USA doctors it was bang on.. Really happy. 🙂
I made a peachy green smoothie a few weeks ago and it was delicious! I used kale instead of spinach but still found that the peach (plus I used orange juice) made it taste fruity enough.
Congrats on being in the home stretch! You’ll be meeting that beautiful baby in no time!
Holy crap; you ARE in the home stretch now. Yet, you still look super adorable. Pregnant women everywhere are muttering your name with disdain….until they see this smoothie, that is. I can’t wait to get peaches in my share so I can make this. And then drink it because duh.
I am ALL about the green smoothies lately. Don’t leave me, summer!
Looks amazing!!! Thank u!!
This sounds like a great smoothie! I love adding spinach to smoothies and anything with coconut milk is almost a guaranteed favorite.
All of these green smoothies everywhere I turn. I must try one soon! Wishing you well as you come around in the homestretch! I can’t wait for the baby to get here and to see beautiful pictures!
Thanks Brittany!!!!!!! I can’t wait either!
Being a September baby myself, I would just like to say September is a very noble month for a birth!
love it! =)
Holy DUE DATE COMING SOON! 😀 Good Luck!
ahhh! Thanks!
Have you ever tried using frozen cucumber instead of ice? I was recently introduced to this switch up and loved it. Looks like a great recipe – Guess what I am having for breakfast tomorrow. I can’t wait to see photos of your little one soon – Eek, exciting, nerve wracking and emotional all at the same time.
Thanks Molly! I juice it all the time but never tried frozen cuke! It sounds amazing! I’ll for sure try it out! =)
Before you know it it is going to be Christmas..scary!!
Can’t believe you’re gonna have a little baby in your life in a mere month! That’s so exciting 🙂 Love the smoothie! I’m actually making a green blueberry smoothie for lunch today.
That recipe looks great!
And yes we are all always here for you if you need! Hopefully with the rest of the year and your pregnancy it is all now smooth sailing 🙂
That smoothie looks amazing! And how exciting! Can’t wait to see your little one!
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! My babies were both born this time of year – Aug 6 and Sept 1!
Yummaaaaahz, girl!! Love the fonts for the smoothie too 😉
Nice that there are a whole bunch more recipes coming our way soon. I liked the recent ones. And I actually make this exact smoothie a lot. Summer peaches are just one of the most delicious things ever!
Throw in some ginger and cinnamon and you’ve got one of my most favorite combos. Mmmm…
I cannot believe you’re in the home stretch!!! 1 more month and you won’t feel sick any more! Oh yeah, and you’ll have a small human. 😉
Eee! Exciting times, girl! And would ya look at that? I have all the ingredients for this fine-looking smoothie. I was actually planning on making a green smoothie for lunch! This’ll be great!
Yay! Thanks Ali!
My husband is still scared of green smoothies even though I have them for breakfast pretty much every morning. Love all the fresh fruit in this one!
Mine is too! I can usually get him to drink them if they’re orange or purple but if they’re green or have beets he hides under the bed likea big wuss!
Mine is exactly the same 🙂 Even though he likes spinach a lot I just can’t bring him to try it in a smoothie. Well, he’s the one missing all the deliciousness 😉
I can’t believe your due at the end of the month! Crazy! I hope when the chickpea comes it is better than your pregnancy has been.
I’m a green smoothie queen at the moment and this looks lush.
aww thanks Nikki! I hope so too!!!!!! <3
