Morning sunshine! If I seem extra chipper it’s simply because I’m writing this baby up Tuesday afternoon while I still have a bit of energy under my belt. By 4 pm [and 4 am at this rate!] I’ll be shuffling around for “braiiiiiins!” in true zombie fashion. I told you my life was glamorous. Hah!
So before we get on with today’s shindig, I wanted to thank everyone who shared, tweeted, facebooked, and responded to my post on The Glorification of Sugar. I’ve been responding to the comments all week and adore the support from those of you on board with glorifying produce and love the discussions this has sparked. Team veggie is clearly where it’s at =) Ooh! And thanks for the outpour of sappy schmappy love on my recent news. I’m a bit giddy over the whole thing… well, minus the plague part.
Enough of my yammering! You came here for food! I have some of that. You have some too. Let’s share 😉 Though you can’t have any of my bagels!
My meals are still a little random. I aim to scarf that extra 300-350 calories a day that I’m supposed to be putting away but it’s still really hard to eat much when I feel so icky. My normal habit of eating at super-speeds has been slowed down to a more normal speed of eating and I sometimes split each meal into two parts so I don’t overstuff my angry belly all at once. If anything, the silver lining is that this whole process is teaching me to eat slower and be a bit more mindful of how foods make me feel. But you guys know me, all I really want to do is faceplant into my plate most of the time. Baby steps!
