The last few days have been beyond crazy with road trips, recipe testing, and lots of furniture hunting. I took a zillion and one photos of my food, but when it came time to choose a day to share for my weekly What I Ate Wednesday post I panicked and smooshed a little bit of everything into one epic collage. There’s a trend here. It’s a tad embarrassing how much seafood two people can consume over the course of 4 days. And by embarrassing, I mean awesome.
Though if I spontaneously sprout gills and start flopping around on the floor, stick me in a bucket of water, will ya? Thanks!

My snacks have been the same few things on epic repeat — lots of chilled under-ripe bananas, crinkle cut carrots, and peanut butter pretzels. Oh and bread…. way too much crusty bread I’ve also been recipe testing my face off. My skinny jeans might be a little snug this week but ohmygoooooosh so much YUM!
Ooh! In case you’re suddenly craving shrimp tacos now, the recipe is uuuuuber simple! It’s pretty much identical to my fish taco recipe but with the addition of fresh chopped tomatoes and jalapenos along with the the red onion and avocado. Whole foods had a special on local jumbo shrimp and holy yum they were the best I’ve had in ages!
I should *probably* whip up a post with Thanksgiving sides and such for you at some point but until I get my act together, you pretty much have to make this:
