I had intended on simply dipping these bad boys in garlicky red sauce.
Then I covered them in melted parm/romano/mozzarella cheese.
and THEN dipped them in the sauce =)

T-Rex Chefsdip sticks in egg whites before rolling in panko
Brontosaurus Chefsdip in dijon mustard instead of egg whites
What’s in it?
1 Zucchini squash
1/4-1/2 cup Panko bread crumbs
1 egg white or 1/4 cup dijon mustard
1-2 servings of Sargento Italian blend shredded cheese (or vegan cheeze)
1/4-1/2 cup Homemade or store bought marinara sauce
Garlic powder to taste
Mrs. Dash Italian seasoning blend to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 375F. Grab 2 bowls. Mix your panko and herbs in one bowl, and pour mustard or egg whites in the other. Slice zucchini into thin but hearty strips. Dip in egg white or mustard and then roll in the panko bowl. If more crunch is desired, sprinkle a little extra panko on top of each stick. Line zucchini sticks on a foil lined and olive oil greased cooking sheet. Bake for 20-30 minutes on the middle rack or until golden. If you’re going to get cheesy like I did, cover sticks with cheese within the last 5-10 minutes of cooking. Pat yourself on the back b/c you just ate an entire zucchini =)
