One of my first blog posts after moving into this house (just over 3 months ago), was about how I was ready to finally have an grown up bathroom. No more girly pastels or Hawaiian luau themed bathrooms for this girl! My friend LO put together a baller mood board with a chic spa feel.
The walls came painted with a pale minty tiffany box blue. GORGEOUS!
Originally the mood board was for a spa style bathroom,
but my love of edgier modern accents paired with vintage style pieces totally won out <3
This makeover was a combination of old and new items.
The black shelf was purchased and painted back in college + the lacy vintage style frames were the table numbers at my wedding this past July <3 It’s a little quirky that I chose the frames from table #1 and #2. Anything for a cheap laugh =)
I love the antique-y feel of these hot and cold shower curtain hooks.
The best part is the price — $3.50 @ T.J. Maxx + paid for with a gift card.
Hello free stuff <3
The shower curtain was $16 @ BB&B and the Liner was 60 cents @ Target!
More gift cards were used. So at this point, we’re still at $0 spent.

To match my vintage shower hooks, I purchased these adorable towel hooks from Pottery Barn. They were $11 and shipped for free.
Do you think I should round out this look with an antique-style hot and cold sink fixture?
Fabulous right? I want!
Ok back to reality!
The frugal and FABULOUS Cat from Budget Blonde sent me a few recycled bottle vases from an awesome DIY project she did. Um… are these not perfect for my master bath makeover? I think so! Love them! Thanks Cat! <3 This was the highlight of my week. Hands down.
Like I said – PERFECT for the master bath!
So finish reading this post (wink wink) leave me a comment + visit Budget Blonde
Have you wondered where the tooth brush holder and soap dish is yet?
You actually won’t find one here! I keep everything under the sink in little organizers. This way I have room for the fantabulous modern vases I scored @ Homegoods
1. The tiny black vase is an old IKEA vase with chalkboard spray paint
2. The artsy porcelain Vases were $7 a piece, $0 with gift card. Score!
3. The B+W plate holds the knockoff Clarisonic that my mom gave me.
If the bathroom was a little larger than itty bitty,
I would have been able to get the entire bathroom in one shot.
Hopefully the bathroom in my very first house will be epic =)
What do you think?
This is actually the first completely decorated room this new rental.
Next up? The Master Bedroom!
